Job Description
Senior Backend Developer maintaining and enhancing PowerBuilder applications for NRI’s managed IT services. Building full-stack Oracle solutions and troubleshooting complex production environments.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain, support, and enhance existing PowerBuilder applications
- Design, develop, test, and deploy full stack solutions using relational databases
- Perform complex troubleshooting and root cause analysis in production and non-production environments
- Execute basic UNIX/Linux shell tasks
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams as needed
- Produce clear technical documentation
- Communicate with business and technical stakeholders
- Manage and optimise IT landscapes for leading organisations through the Managed Services team
Requirements:
- 4–5+ years’ experience as a Full Stack Developer in a managed service environment or large government agency
- Strong PowerBuilder development skills and experience supporting PowerBuilder applications
- PowerBuilder 2017 highly regarded
- Solid experience with Oracle or other relational databases, including SQL and performance tuning
- Comfortable working on UNIX/Linux systems, including basic shell scripting and command-line operations
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills in complex, multi-system environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's Degree
