Job Description
Senior PHP Developer upgrading and maintaining a legacy PHP service for driver document verification. Supporting a global mobility platform with security fixes and compatibility work.
Responsibilities:
- Upgrade the service from PHP 8.0 to PHP 8.3 or later, ensuring framework and dependency compatibility.
- Resolve security issues; details will be shared under NDA.
- Perform minor service maintenance tasks.
- Work on a monolithic service for driver document verification for a global mobility platform.
Requirements:
- Senior-level experience upgrading PHP in large legacy projects; Yii2 experience is preferred.
- PHP 8.0, Yii2 2.0.52, PHP-FPM, nginx, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Istio.
- Vue 2, Webpack, Bootstrap 3, jQuery.
- MySQL 8, Redis or Valkey, Yii migrations, Liquibase.
- Kafka, gRPC, Protobuf, Vault, Salesforce, OCR or Computer Vision integrations.
- GitHub Actions, Prometheus, Grafana, Sentry, and Codeception 4.
- Ability to perform manual regression testing for admin and webview functionality.
- English: upper-intermediate.
