Job Description
Analyst supporting business transformation initiatives in a remote role at TELUS. Collaborating on projects to improve processes and engage stakeholders effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Develop professional process diagrams for the future operating model and help stakeholders adapt their current processes
- Build trust with stakeholders by demonstrating strong knowledge of project-related processes, operational applications, and the TELUS Business Solutions value chain
- Contribute to project visions, charters, and major workstreams, ensuring quality requirements are met
- Facilitate meetings and workshops with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment, progress, and achievement of objectives
- Support stakeholders with change management and clear communication of impacts, demonstrating the future-state during process workshops
- Plan and lead testing activities, communicate results, track defects, and ensure fixes are acceptable to stakeholders and the project team
- Obtain stakeholder sign-off for activities such as process mapping and user acceptance testing
- Provide post-launch support to promote stability and ensure smooth transitions
- Regularly report project status to leaders and project managers, highlighting risks and mitigation plans
Requirements:
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Highly motivated, proactive, and creative in initiating and leading projects and initiatives
- Ability to work independently and excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of waterfall project management, the Agile (SAFe) framework, the project development lifecycle, and development and operations practices
- Experience with tools such as JIRA or ServiceNow, and methodologies like Kanban and Scrum
- Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft applications
- Understanding of TELUS's organizational structure and how changes impact your project
- Strong knowledge of systems that support the value chain of TELUS Business Solutions
- Intermediate knowledge of English is required
