Job Description
Senior Civil Engineer providing technical expertise for renewable energy projects on Indian lands. Leadership role focused on guidance and evaluation of engineering methodologies and feasibility.
Responsibilities:
- Serves as a leadership position within the functional labor category
- Performs task production management responsibilities
- Furnishes guidance in conservation and development of renewable energy resources
- Provides technical advice and support to tribal renewable energy development programs
- Evaluates the feasibility of planned projects
Requirements:
- S. in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program (or equivalent)
- S. in Civil Engineering (or closely related field such as environmental, water resources, construction, or structural engineering) preferred
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license (any U.S. state/territory) strongly preferred
- 7-10 years of progressively responsible civil engineering experience
- Ability to utilize architectural engineering methodologies and principles as they apply to renewable energy projects
- Experience working as a liaison across stakeholders (tribal entities, federal/state agencies, and commercial contractors)
