Job Description
Senior Azure Cloud Engineer at Ensemble Health Partners leveraging technology for meaningful impact. Leading cloud architecture and AI-driven solutions in a remote work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient Azure cloud architectures.
- Lead infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and Azure DevOps pipelines.
- Drive automation across cloud operations using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles
- Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and enforce policy-as-code using Azure Policy.
- Collaborate with development and security teams to ensure secure deployment practices.
- Support data engineering teams in deploying and managing data solutions (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Synapse).
- Explore and implement AI/ML solutions to optimize cloud operations (e.g., anomaly detection, predictive scaling).
- Implement RBAC, network security groups, and Azure Defender to ensure compliance with enterprise standards.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and patch management.
- Use Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and AI-based insights to proactively manage performance and cost.
- Lead incident response and root cause analysis for critical cloud issues.
- Use Azure Backup & Site Recovery for High Availability & Disaster Recovery Implement cyber-attack Protection strategies.
- Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Contribute to cloud governance frameworks and business continuity planning.
Requirements:
- 8-12 Years of experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master's preferred).
- Proven experience with Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services.
- Hands-on expertise in Terraform, ARM templates, and Azure DevOps.
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps, CI/CD, and GitOps workflows.
- Proficiency in cloud networking (VNETs, VPNs, ExpressRoute) and security (NSGs, firewalls).
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and their application in cloud operations.
- Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Nice to Have: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, AI-900: Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals (preferred)
