Job Description
Senior Cloud Engineer at SHI managing Azure cloud infrastructure with a focus on automation and scalability. Mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with security and DevOps teams.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, deployment, and management of complex Azure-based cloud infrastructure.
- Architect and develop reusable IaC modules and frameworks using Terraform.
- Design and implement advanced automation solutions using Python and Bash.
- Develop and maintain shell scripts for Linux system orchestration.
- Administer and optimize CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
- Build and maintain Docker and Kubernetes-based container environments.
- Lead incident response efforts and troubleshoot complex issues.
- Mentor and provide technical leadership to junior cloud engineers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of cloud infrastructure experience with expertise in: Microsoft Azure.
- Designing and implementing Terraform modules.
- Scripting in Python with demonstrated ability to build complex automation frameworks.
- Advanced Bash scripting and Linux system administration.
- Ability to travel to SHI, Partner, and Customer Events.
- Willingness to obtain one of the following certifications within first year of SHI employment required: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Azure Certified Solutions Architect – Associate.
