Job Description
Cloud Services Admin providing Tier 2 customer support for US Signal. Responsible for resolving escalated cases and mentoring Tier 1 agents in a technical operations team.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as an escalation point for Level II issues, working independently to resolve complex technical problems.
- Mentor Support Agents by providing guidance and skill development opportunities.
- Handle overflow customer calls, acting as a subject matter expert and ensuring accurate trouble ticket documentation.
- Participate in special projects and assignments as directed by leadership.
Requirements:
- Administrative experience in 2 or more of the following technology areas: Operating Systems: Windows Server, Linux (Red Hat, Oracle Linux, Ubuntu, etc.).
- Hypervisors: Nutanix AHV, VMware ESXi, KVM
- Data Protection: Commvault, Zerto, Acronis, Cohesity, or other Backup/DR technologies.
- Public Clouds: Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google.
- CloudTools: Monitoring or Security platforms
- Availability to consult, assist and/or perform after-hours support and participate in on-call rotations.
- Experience in a data center, service provider, or telecom environment
- Certifications in Cloud, Data Protection, Disaster Recovery, Storage, and VDI strongly preferred
