Job Description
Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer designing and managing Azure cloud infrastructure for Acuity Analytics. Collaborating internationally while driving cloud security and enhancing performance.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Automate and optimize cloud processes to improve performance and cost efficiency
- Monitor system health, availability, and performance
- Ensure cloud security and compliance with industry best practices
- Provide advanced support and troubleshooting for cloud-based services
- Manage Microsoft 365 user onboarding, access, and tenancy configuration
- Resolve client connectivity, software, and mobility issues
- Support service availability across the global IT environment
- Drive resolution of escalated incidents and service requests
- Participate in testing new services and releases to ensure support readiness
- Automate recurring support procedures and contribute to continuous improvement
- Maintain clear documentation and knowledge records
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in IT or related discipline
- Vendor-aligned certification (e.g., MCP/MTA)
- Strong expertise in Microsoft 365 and Azure environments
- 8+ years’ experience in IT support within a complex professional environment
- Solid understanding of infrastructure architecture and secure cloud design
- Experience working within ITIL-based service environments (ServiceNow preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and collaboration technologies
- Ability to quickly understand and support complex business applications
- Strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and teamwork
