Job Description
Healthcare consulting leader analyzing financial and operational data for Vizient clients. Leading projects, advising senior healthcare executives, and improving indirect spend performance.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct advanced financial and operational analyses to identify performance improvement opportunities and translate findings into actionable strategic recommendations
- Develop and execute project plans meeting schedules, budgets, contractual deliverables, and expected value
- Lead defined consulting projects and workstreams independently or with cross-functional project teams
- Facilitate client meetings and present findings and recommendations to vice presidents and senior client leaders
- Manage mid- to senior-level client relationships, expectations, and requests
- Guide less experienced consultants on data interpretation, analytical approaches, and storytelling
- Respond to client requests involving data analysis, strategy development, performance improvement, and coaching
- Identify expansion opportunities and support sales and client growth efforts
- Develop and enhance consulting products, services, tools, methodologies, and intellectual capital
- Monitor engagement budgets, project performance, and client chargeable hours
Requirements:
- Relevant degree preferred
- 5 or more years of relevant experience required
- Experience in healthcare consulting or healthcare purchased services or support services required
- Experience coordinating or managing projects and applying project management methodologies required
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial and operational data and develop actionable recommendations
- Excellent facilitation, presentation, storytelling, and written and verbal communication skills with senior client audiences
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects within complex, cross-functional environments
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet clients’ needs and timetables
