Job Description
Senior Data Engineer developing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines for Vivo's Data Delivery team while collaborating with business analysts and data scientists.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Informatica PowerCenter or IDMC, or Hadoop, or Databricks, or Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Design data models (star schema, snowflake, one big table, etc.) for analytics and data products.
- Work with big data tools (Spark/Databricks) and Azure cloud services.
- Tune performance — both cost and runtime — of data processes on Databricks.
- Contribute to documentation, standardization, and best practices for the area.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and data scientists.
- Autonomy, organization, and a strong sense of technical responsibility.
- Good communication skills with technical and non-technical teams.
- Proactivity and a continuous learning mindset.
Requirements:
- Completed higher education (degree certificate preferred).
- Strong knowledge of SQL.
- Experience with ETL/ELT using Informatica PowerCenter, IDMC, Hadoop, Databricks, or Azure Data Factory (ADF), and experience with data modeling.
- Experience in Azure cloud environments.
- Experience with Python for data manipulation.
- Awareness of data governance, data quality, and data security.
- Knowledge of tools such as Hadoop, Spark, Databricks, PostgreSQL, Informatica PowerCenter, IDMC, Azure Data Factory (ADF), MongoDB, and Kafka.
