Job Description
Data Engineer developing scalable data solutions for the fintech sector at Hypoport. Responsible for end-to-end data product ownership and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain a robust data foundation
- Develop scalable data pipelines and reliable data structures
- Prepare data for reporting and AI applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into data solutions
- End-to-end responsibility for data products
Requirements:
- Several years of experience building and operating data pipelines, data models, or analytics-engineering solutions in production environments
- Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, and tools such as dbt and Airflow
- Experience with mature or organically grown platforms
- Ability to understand complex processes in the installment loan business
- Experience with testing, monitoring, sanity checks or similar practices to ensure consistent data
- Understanding of AI and automation use cases
- Ideally, experience with data protection (e.g., GDPR) and handling sensitive data
- Data-product-oriented mindset
