Job Description
Senior DevOps Architect at Qintess, focusing on technology architecture and cloud integration. Leading DevOps practices with a diverse team in a digital transformation journey.
Responsibilities:
- Define integration architectures with the new banking core (APIs, events, etc.)
- Design and evolve DevOps and GitOps architectures
- Define automation standards using Ansible Automation Platform
- Support building a delivery platform (CI/CD + IaC + GitOps)
- Participate in defining cloud architecture (OCI preferred, GCP as an additional option)
- Create standards and best practices for: Infrastructure provisioning (IaC)
- Application deployment (pipelines and GitOps)
- Integration between systems
- Support standardization and governance of OpenShift/Kubernetes usage
- Facilitate knowledge transfer to the GSIST and GPROD teams
- Create documentation, playbooks, and reusable technical guides
- Act as a cross-functional technical reference across teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in IT
- Proven experience as an architect or technical lead
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems architecture
- Integration via APIs (REST, events, messaging)
- Experience with DevOps and GitOps practices
- Knowledge of CI/CD (GitLab, ArgoCD, etc.)
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/OpenTofu)
- Experience with automation using Ansible
- Experience with Kubernetes / OpenShift
- Cloud experience: OCI (strong plus)
- GCP or other cloud providers
- Experience with version control and Git/GitLab workflows.
