Job Description
Senior Agentic Infrastructure Engineer at Mirantis developing scalable AI infrastructure. Engaging with open source and mentoring junior developers in Kubernetes and AI technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Mentor junior developers, sharing your expertise and experience
- Leverage your expertise in AI, AI Agents, distributed systems, APIs, and AI-native architectures for architectural decisions
- Actively engage with open source communities to cultivate relationships and address challenges
- Partner with internal development teams for seamless integration of open source contributions
- Maintain exemplary standards for open source contributions, ensuring best practices in testing and documentation
Requirements:
- 5+ years in software development with significant experience in Golang, Python, and/or Rust
- Passion to thrive in a fast-paced, fluid environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Experience and understanding of how to leverage AI-powered co-development tools such as Cursor IDE, Claude Code, Cline, Aider.Chat or similar
- Strong understanding of open source best practices, including code quality, testing, and documentation
- Deep experience with all forms of APIs
- Utilize Docker and Kubernetes for deploying, managing, and scaling microservices
- In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes, including overall Kubernetes, Cluster API, CNI, and CSI
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools to collect and analyze telemetry data from Kubernetes clusters
- Strong interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills
- Exceptional problem-solving capabilities with proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
