Job Description
Data Center Infrastructure Architect designing scalable systems for AI infrastructure at Tensorwave Cloud. Focused on system design, project management, and vendor coordination with significant travel requirements.
Responsibilities:
- E2E liquid cooling solutions encompassing CDUs, manifolds, direct-to-chip plates, facility-to-rack distribution to achieve optimal heat removal in high-density GPU environments
- E2E structured cabling systems including pathway design, rack layouts, connectivity topologies, fiber/copper selection, containment, labeling standards, and integration with network systems to reliably support maximum scalability
- E2E power distribution systems including PDUs, redundancy schemes, capacity planning, rack-level power optimization
- Manage project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and milestone tracking
- Select vendors, craft detailed RFPs, SOWs, specify component requirements, and evaluate proposals for technical fit, cost, and reliability
- Conduct design reviews, audits, and inspections to verify vendor installations meet specifications, standards (TIA/EIA, ASHRAE, BICSI, NEC), and performance goals
- Provide clear documentation, standards, templates, and post-project reviews to continuously improve processes
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related) or equivalent experience
- 8+ years in data center physical infrastructure with deep expertise in structured cabling, liquid cooling systems, and power distribution
- Proven experience architecting large-scale projects and coordinating third-party vendors and contractors for implementation
- Strong project management skills
- In-depth knowledge of cabling amd standards (fiber, copper), liquid cooling architectures (D2C), and power systems (PDUs, redundancy, monitoring)
- Familiarity with high-performance computing demands, including 400G/800G networks and dense GPU deployments
- Proficiency in MS Project or Jira
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
