Job Description
Senior Lifecycle Manager owning Timeleft’s consumer subscription lifecycle across email, push, SMS, and in-app. Driving activation, retention, reactivation, and AI-powered personalisation.
Responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end lifecycle programme across email, push, SMS, and in-app
- Convert signups into paying subscribers
- Drive retention through close partnership with Product
- Reactivate dormant subscribers
- Build personalisation, dynamic journeys, and next-best-action capabilities
- Define and drive the lifecycle maturity roadmap
- Shape the lifecycle system with Data and Product, including data foundations, segmentation, triggers, events, experimentation, content supply, and feedback loops
- Partner with Product on in-app moments, onboarding flows, and retention nudges
- Own measurement for signup-to-paid conversion, cohort retention curves, reactivation rate, and LTV contribution
- Apply AI to content generation, segment modelling, journey design, and testing
- Hire and manage a Lifecycle Manager as the programme scales
- Feed insights into Product, Paid Social, and Brand
- Report directly to the VP Data
Requirements:
- Full-stack lifecycle operator experience at a consumer app or subscription business
- Experience shipping across email, push, SMS, and in-app
- Experience building lifecycle capabilities such as personalisation, dynamic journeys, or next-best-action logic
- Deep Customer.io experience or comparable stack such as Braze or Iterable
- Understanding of data foundations, event tracking, experimentation infrastructure, scoring, and prediction
- Ability to work credibly with Data and Engineering
- Experience moving signup-to-paid conversion at meaningful scale
- Experience partnering with Product on retention
- Experience winning back dormant subscribers at scale
- Testing and measurement discipline, including segmentation, personalisation, testing, and results analysis
- Experience using LLMs and automation for content, segmentation, and journey work
- Strong writing or copy partnership skills
- Cross-functional collaboration with Product and Data
- Readiness to hire and manage a team
