Job Description
Sr. Manager of Quality Engineering for CVS Health, conducting QA engineering and enhancing software quality. Collaborating with teams to optimize testing processes and report defects.
Responsibilities:
- Assesses the effectiveness of critical functions, including test planning, test case development, test execution, and test reporting.
- Designs a systematic approach for detecting software defects and determining the severity and priority of identified issues.
- Coaches the quality assurance team to enhance capabilities and reinforce standards in alignment with industry trends and software engineering practices.
- Conducts most complex evaluations for the quality assurance team to assess the quality of software and applications.
- Confers with test automation experts to help optimize the quality assurance processes within the software engineering department.
- Delivers a comprehensive quality assurance strategy that outlines the roadmap, timelines, and standards for software projects.
- Designs a monitoring system to track project progress and manage expectations to ensure alignment with engineering project goals.
- Forecasts the resource requirements for quality assurance activities based on project scope, deadlines, and complexity.
- Helps establish and implement metrics and reporting mechanisms to track the effectiveness of the quality assurance initiatives for software projects.
Requirements:
- 5-7 years relevant work experience
- Certified Software Quality Engineer (CSQE) preferred
- Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification/equivalent experience
