Job Description
Senior Medical Economics Data Analyst performing analytics on healthcare trends for Trillium Health Resources in North Carolina. Role includes data analysis, strategy development, and team collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement payer analytics and economics strategies around provider rates.
- Analyze behavioral health, physical health, and pharmacy data and rates using a variety of data sources and programs including but not limited to Excel, SQL, Access, etc.
- Utilize industry trends and Medicaid fee schedules and data concepts to drive decision-making.
- Prepare presentations and other collateral materials to support rate initiatives.
- Participate in rates process improvement projects.
- Provide technical training and support to team members.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED and six (6) years of experience in healthcare analytics or medical economics; OR Associate’s degree and four (4) years of experience in healthcare analytics or medical economics; OR Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of experience in healthcare analytics or medical economics; OR Equivalent combination of education/experience.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must reside within North Carolina.
- Must be able to travel within catchment as required.
- Two (2) years or more experience in Managed Care industry (preferred).
