Job Description
Senior .NET/C# developer building complex microservices for CI&T, which transforms enterprise AI and technology into business impact. Implementing APIs, messaging, integrations, resilience, and automated tests for a major food-sector client.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-quality C# code within a microservices ecosystem
- Implement complex business logic for the food sector
- Document your work and contribute to CI/CD processes
- Perform code reviews to ensure code quality and architectural integrity
- Manage priorities and deliveries autonomously and with high performance
- Develop APIs for communication between microservices
- Implement messaging patterns for asynchronous communication between services
- Integrate external systems and databases while maintaining system integrity
- Ensure proper error handling and resilience in inter-service communications
- Write comprehensive unit and integration tests
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues within the services ecosystem
Requirements:
- Professional experience with C# and .NET development
- Strong knowledge of .NET Core / .NET 5+ and ASP.NET Core Web API
- Advanced C# skills: LINQ, Generics, and Reflection
- Proficiency in asynchronous programming (Task, async/await)
- Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems
- Experience with Dependency Injection and Inversion of Control (IoC) patterns
- Knowledge of designing and implementing RESTful APIs
- Experience with SQL Server and writing efficient queries
- Familiarity with Entity Framework Core
- Understanding of data access patterns and transaction management
- Knowledge of database performance optimization techniques
- Experience with JSON and XML
- Proficiency in xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest
- Experience with Moq or NSubstitute
- Familiarity with containerization using Docker
- Advanced/Fluent English is required
- Nice-to-haves: CI/CD pipelines for .NET applications; logging, monitoring, and observability; GraphQL; IdentityServer/JWT; CQRS/Mediator; globalization and localization in .NET; Domain-Driven Design (DDD); Test-Driven Development (TDD); continuous integration practices
