Job Description
Backend engineers reviewing FastAPI assessment questions for Terac, which recruits vetted human experts for AI research. Auditing answers, rubrics, code prompts, and edge cases.
Responsibilities:
- Audit multiple-choice options and correct answers for technical accuracy
- Eliminate ambiguity in distractor choices for intermediate-level questions
- Verify code question prompts and evaluate associated grading rubrics
- Add edge test cases to programming questions to ensure robust grading
- Submit a corrected and finalized JSON file containing the expert review
- Participate in a remote session reviewing a JSON question paper with multiple-choice and coding questions
- Validate that FastAPI microservices assessments are accurate, unambiguous, and aligned with industry standards
Requirements:
- Professional experience building backend microservices with Python and FastAPI
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Python and FastAPI
- Experience building and deploying FastAPI microservices
- Familiarity with ASGI servers, dependency injection, and asynchronous communication
- Experience using Pydantic for data validation and httpx for async requests
- Comfortable reading, evaluating, and editing JSON-formatted technical assessments
- Suitable background as a Senior Python Engineer, Backend Tech Lead, or API Developer
