Job Description
Senior Performance Marketer owning Google, Meta, display, and retargeting campaigns for Jack Westin’s MCAT prep and admissions consulting business. Managing budgets, tracking, testing, and ROAS.
Responsibilities:
- Own all paid media campaigns end to end across Google Ads, Meta Ads, display, and retargeting
- Build and present annual and quarterly media budget plans, including channel allocation, spend pacing, projected CPL, and expected return
- Set up, manage, and optimize campaigns hands-on, including bid strategies, audience targeting, ad copy, and creative direction
- Brief display ad creative with formats, sizes, messaging hierarchy, and calls to action
- Own conversion tracking, UTM tagging, and attribution setup, including fixing known tracking gaps
- Deliver weekly performance reports covering spend, CPL, ROAS, conversions to free sessions, and key findings
- Run structured creative and audience tests, document learnings, and apply them to future iterations
- Identify wasted spend and reallocate budget to improve efficiency
- Evaluate new channels and ad formats when justified by data or opportunity
- Report to leadership with clear performance recommendations
- Drive paid acquisition to free MCAT strategy sessions for Jack Westin’s MCAT preparation and admissions consulting business
Requirements:
- 4 or more years running paid media campaigns hands-on, with a strong record across Google Ads and Meta
- Owned budget and been accountable for results
- Deep working knowledge of Google Ads across Search, Display, Performance Max, and YouTube
- Strong Meta Ads experience: campaign structure, audience build, creative testing, and optimization
- Experience with display advertising, including ad formats, retargeting logic, and frequency management
- Ability to build a media budget plan covering spend by channel, projected CPL, assumptions, and evaluation metrics
- Strong data analysis skills using GA4, platform dashboards, and spreadsheets
- Understanding of conversion tracking, UTM architecture, and attribution models
- Comfortable diagnosing and fixing tracking problems
- Ability to explain performance to a non-marketing audience clearly
- Experience in education, test prep, or a high-consideration purchase cycle (nice to have)
- Familiarity with HubSpot or similar CRM (nice to have)
- Experience with programmatic or DSP buying beyond Google Display Network (nice to have)
- Google Ads or Meta Blueprint certification (nice to have)
