Job Description
Senior Project Manager coordinating custom AI/ML antibody projects at Twist Bioscience, a DNA synthesis company. Managing quotes, timelines, customer communication, and cross-functional delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate multiple simultaneous projects for high-throughput Antibody/IgG offerings
- Manage project execution from initial inquiry through final delivery
- Coordinate communication among Sales, Customer Service, Tech Support, Operations, Product Management, Finance, and other departments
- Create quotes and Statements of Work
- Oversee custom AI/ML Antibody projects from intake to final delivery
- Ensure smooth transitions between quoting, production, and Antibody data delivery
- Gather antibody design requirements
- Prepare quotes and maintain real-time status updates in the project tracker
- Serve as primary contact for project timelines, data quality, and technical updates
- Respond to customer inquiries or route them to the appropriate internal expert
- Maintain accurate records of quotes, orders in progress, and shipments
- Identify workflow inefficiencies and suggest scalable operational improvements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related field
- 4–5 years in the life sciences
- Technical background in AI/ML-based antibody engineering and/or antibody characterization preferred
- Familiarity with Salesforce and Jira is a plus
- 3+ years of experience leading scientific projects in a commercial setting
- Proven ability to manage timelines across different departments
- Ability to work effectively with customers and internal teams without direct authority over those teams
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and maintain high standards under pressure
- Track record of identifying workflow bottlenecks and implementing practical, organized solutions
