Job Description
Senior QA Automation Engineer driving automated web, API, and backend testing for WorkMotion’s global workforce platform. Applying AI tools to improve QA efficiency and release quality.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test cases for web, API, and backend services
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to define acceptance criteria and ensure test coverage and high-quality releases
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and monitor test execution results
- Perform code reviews and mentor junior QA engineers
- Investigate and report bugs with detailed reproduction steps and logs
- Maintain test data, environments, and tools
- Contribute to quality culture and improve testing processes
- Use AI-powered development and testing tools to accelerate QA processes
- Apply AI-assisted test generation, debugging, and defect analysis
- Evaluate and implement AI-driven QA solutions
- Use GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, or similar AI platforms in daily workflows
- Collaborate on AI-assisted SDLC initiatives
Requirements:
- 6+ years of professional experience in QA automation
- Strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript and Python
- Experience with Cypress or Playwright
- Experience testing RESTful APIs using Postman, REST Assured, or Insomnia
- Familiarity with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
- Deep understanding of software testing principles, test design techniques, and QA methodologies
- Knowledge of Git
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
