Job Description

Senior Release Train Engineer leading SAFe Agile Release Train supporting federal programs. Facilitating Agile practices and ensuring compliance with federal governance and security requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Agile leader and coach for a SAFe Agile Release Train supporting federal programs
  • Facilitate Program Increment (PI) planning, Scrum of Scrums, ART Syncs, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt (I&A) events
  • Serve as a Release Manager, orchestrating after hours production deployments with technical team members
  • Partner with Product Management, System Architects, and government stakeholders to align delivery with mission objectives and contractual requirements
  • Track and manage program-level dependencies, risks, impediments, and milestones
  • Ensure transparency and visibility into program execution using Agile metrics and reporting
  • Coach teams on SAFe, Agile, and Lean principles while fostering a culture of continuous improvement
  • Support compliance with federal standards, including security, reporting, and documentation requirements
  • Coordinate cross-team delivery, release planning, and integration activities
  • Facilitate communication between technical teams, business owners, and government leadership
  • Support tool configuration and best practices for Agile lifecycle management platforms

Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizenship is required due to federal contract requirements
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust
  • 5+ years of experience in Agile delivery, program management, or technical leadership
  • 2+ years of experience as a Release Train Engineer, Agile Coach, or senior Scrum Master
  • MUST RESIDE IN THE United States (U.S.) and the work MUST BE PERFORMED in the United States (U.S.)
