Job Description
ITIL Automation / Orchestration Engineer streamlining service delivery across ITSM platforms. Designing automations and building orchestration workflows for Defense programs.
Responsibilities:
- streamline and modernize service delivery across ITSM platforms
- design automations, integrate systems, and build orchestration workflows that accelerate mission outcomes and reduce operational friction across Defense programs
- Build automated workflows that streamline ITIL/ITSM processes (Change, Incident, Request, CMDB, etc.)
- Integrate platforms such as ServiceNow, cloud services, monitoring tools, and DevSecOps pipelines
- Develop reusable automations that reduce toil and improve service quality across the enterprise
- Collaborate with service owners to translate ITIL processes into actionable automated workflows
- Implement orchestration that connects infrastructure, applications, and support systems
- Contribute to broader modernization initiatives by standardizing automation best practices
Requirements:
- 8 + years of related experience
- US Citizenship Required
- Strong experience with ITSM platforms (ServiceNow preferred)
- Hands‑on experience building automations, REST integrations, and workflow orchestration
- Solid understanding of ITIL processes and service management fundamentals
- Strong scripting skills (Python, JavaScript, PowerShell)
- Experience integrating cloud platforms, monitoring tools, and CI/CD systems
- Ability to work across teams to define automation needs and deliver practical solutions
- Candidate must possess active SECRET clearance, and the ability to obtain TOP SECRET/SCI.
- Batchelors and 8 years of progressive work experience.
