Job Description

ITIL Automation / Orchestration Engineer streamlining service delivery across ITSM platforms. Designing automations and building orchestration workflows for Defense programs.

Responsibilities:

  • streamline and modernize service delivery across ITSM platforms
  • design automations, integrate systems, and build orchestration workflows that accelerate mission outcomes and reduce operational friction across Defense programs
  • Build automated workflows that streamline ITIL/ITSM processes (Change, Incident, Request, CMDB, etc.)
  • Integrate platforms such as ServiceNow, cloud services, monitoring tools, and DevSecOps pipelines
  • Develop reusable automations that reduce toil and improve service quality across the enterprise
  • Collaborate with service owners to translate ITIL processes into actionable automated workflows
  • Implement orchestration that connects infrastructure, applications, and support systems
  • Contribute to broader modernization initiatives by standardizing automation best practices

Requirements:

  • 8 + years of related experience
  • US Citizenship Required
  • Strong experience with ITSM platforms (ServiceNow preferred)
  • Hands‑on experience building automations, REST integrations, and workflow orchestration
  • Solid understanding of ITIL processes and service management fundamentals
  • Strong scripting skills (Python, JavaScript, PowerShell)
  • Experience integrating cloud platforms, monitoring tools, and CI/CD systems
  • Ability to work across teams to define automation needs and deliver practical solutions
  • Candidate must possess active SECRET clearance, and the ability to obtain TOP SECRET/SCI.
  • Batchelors and 8 years of progressive work experience.
