Job Description

Senior Sales Manager responsible for driving Microsoft's Cloud and Managed Services initiatives. Building customer relationships and managing sales processes in the German market.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify, approach, and win new customers in the upper mid-market
  • Independently manage the entire sales cycle through to successful contract closing
  • Build, develop, and continuously maintain a qualified sales pipeline
  • Advise new customers on complex IT and cloud solutions
  • Develop long-term customer relationships
  • Conduct executive meetings, workshops, and presentations at management and C-level
  • Analyze technological market trends related to cloud, infrastructure, security, and AI
  • Work closely with Business Development, Marketing, Presales, and technical experts to develop tailored customer solutions

Requirements:

  • Several years of experience selling complex B2B and IT solutions
  • Proven track record of new customer acquisition
  • Experience in developing new business areas
  • Managing complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders
  • Confident presence at management and C-level
  • Strong consulting, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Interest in technological innovations and digital business models
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to present complex solutions in a structured, audience-appropriate manner in German and English
  • Strong customer orientation
  • Ability to systematically analyze business requirements and develop tailored solution approaches
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with high self-initiative
  • Experience collaborating across departments with internal teams, specialists, and management
