Job Description
Senior Scrum Master advancing agile delivery for FlyAkeed, an online flights and hotels booking platform. Coaching product squads, removing impediments, and scaling Scrum practices.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies for one or more product/engineering squads, keeping them focused and outcome driven
- Act as a servant-leader and coach to build self-organizing, high-performing teams
- Identify, track, and remove impediments and dependencies, escalating cross-team blockers
- Partner with Product Owners to maintain healthy, prioritized, delivery-ready backlogs
- Protect teams from scope creep and distractions while maintaining a sustainable delivery pace
- Ensure consistent application of the defined Agile playbook and agreed ways of working
- Track and communicate delivery metrics including velocity, burndown, cycle time, and predictability
- Coach teams and stakeholders on Agile values, Scrum, and Kanban
- Manage risks and stakeholder expectations with clear visibility into progress and blockers
- Mentor the junior Scrum Master and support the broader agile community of practice
- Contribute to scaling Agile ways of working as the organization grows
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in agile delivery as a Scrum Master serving software/product engineering teams
- Proven track record of coaching teams to measurable improvements in delivery and quality
- Deep practical understanding of Scrum and Kanban
- Ability to adapt Agile frameworks to context
- Strong facilitation, conflict-resolution, and stakeholder-management skills
- Experience working with Product Owners and engineering leads in a modern software environment
- Familiarity with CI/CD, cloud, and cross-functional teams
- Ability to coach and influence without direct authority at team and leadership levels
- Fluent English
- Required recognized Scrum Master certification: Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I)
