Job Description
Senior Security Architect designing scalable cybersecurity solutions for Humana’s healthcare insurance and CenterWell services. Supporting cloud, application, risk, compliance, automation, and acquisition integration initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a trusted cybersecurity advisor for supported Primary Care Organization subsidiaries and affiliated entities
- Enable secure business growth through scalable security architecture, risk-informed decision making, and innovative security solutions
- Plan, design, implement, and continuously enhance security solutions
- Evaluate business strategies, technology initiatives, and organizational growth objectives
- Develop security requirements and architectures across infrastructure, cloud, applications, third-party services, and emerging technologies
- Ensure alignment with enterprise standards, regulatory requirements, and business objectives
- Support subsidiary-specific security architecture, governance, risk management, application security, acquisition integration, and compliance efforts
- Leverage automation and AI-enabled capabilities to improve operational efficiency and strengthen security controls
- Provide security architecture support for business growth, technology modernization, and acquisition integration initiatives
- Partner with business and technology leaders to develop scalable solutions balancing risk management, compliance, efficiency, and business enablement
- Influence cybersecurity strategy across multiple organizations and stakeholders
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 1+ years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise security solutions across cloud, infrastructure, application, and third-party environments
- Experience designing, implementing, and supporting security solutions within AWS and Azure cloud platforms
- Experience integrating cybersecurity technologies with existing enterprise platforms and business processes
- Experience conducting security architecture reviews, risk assessments, and security control evaluations
- Experience supporting governance, risk management, compliance, vulnerability management, or application security programs
- Experience collaborating with business and technology stakeholders to align security requirements with organizational objectives
- Experience leveraging automation, AI-enabled capabilities, and process optimization
- Strong knowledge and practical application of cybersecurity frameworks, including the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF)
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Preferred: experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, or technology integration activities
- Preferred: experience within healthcare, regulated industries, or HIPAA, PCI, or similar regulatory environments
- Preferred: experience with cloud security architectures, SaaS security, security automation, and AI-assisted security solutions
- Preferred: prior experience with AI-enabled security solutions and security automation
- Preferred: experience partnering with multiple business entities, subsidiaries, or geographically dispersed organizations
- Minimum home internet speed of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload
- Ability to work from a dedicated space without ongoing interruptions
- Ability to travel occasionally to Humana offices for training or meetings
