Job Description
Senior engineer building scalable LLM, GenAI, and AI-agent platforms for CVS Health. Designing secure, observable, production-ready healthcare technology solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable AI and machine learning solutions for complex business and customer challenges
- Integrate Large Language Models, generative AI capabilities, and AI agents into enterprise products and platforms
- Design and define technical architecture and infrastructure for application solutions
- Develop and maintain AI platforms supporting model training, deployment, monitoring, governance, and lifecycle management
- Optimize inference performance, reliability, scalability, and operational costs
- Implement observability, telemetry, and performance measurement for AI systems
- Enable secure and responsible AI deployment through governance controls and compliance frameworks
- Write code, develop software components, and implement complex functionalities
- Collaborate with development team members and stakeholders on architectural decisions, design patterns, scalability, performance, and maintainability
- Integrate software components and systems for seamless communication and interoperability
- Conduct code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting
- Explore tools, frameworks, and techniques to improve application solutions and drive innovation
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including system designs, architecture diagrams, and code documentation
- Share knowledge and expertise with team members to support knowledge transfer and collaboration
Requirements:
- 5+ years’ work experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred
- One year of relevant work experience may be substituted for each year of college not completed, in addition to the required years of experience
- Deep fluency in Python
- Familiarity with TypeScript, JavaScript, or Java
- Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, and/or Pandas
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
- Experience with microservices and containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Exposure to cloud platforms and technologies such as Lambda, ECS, S3, RDS, and/or CloudWatch
- Experience with source control such as GitHub and Azure Repo
