Job Description
Senior Backend Engineer building vCluster’s Kubernetes tenancy infrastructure for AI cloud platforms. Developing resilient Go systems and open-source solutions for GPU-powered clusters.
Responsibilities:
- Work intimately with Kubernetes internals to advance container orchestration
- Write high-performance, resilient Go code powering the vCluster platform
- Own feature development end-to-end, from technical design through release
- Engage with the community and contribute to open-source projects
- Define scalable tenancy models for isolation and resource sharing beyond namespaces
- Tackle complex engineering challenges requiring deep systems architecture understanding
- Build and maintain infrastructure supporting AI cloud providers and AI factories on GPU infrastructure
Requirements:
- Deep expertise in Kubernetes internals, including architectural patterns, networking, and storage
- Strong programming skills in Go
- Ability to translate Kubernetes knowledge into clean, efficient Go code
- Active GitHub projects, experiments, or open-source contributions demonstrating a passion for building
- Highly technical and self-driven; able to identify and solve problems autonomously
- Experience working in a high-growth environment
- Comfortable with ambiguity and eager to make an impact
- Bonus: Contributions to the Kubernetes project, including documentation updates, pull requests, or participation in SIGs
- Bonus: Experience at an early-stage organization with autonomous work
