Job Description
Senior Full Stack Engineer building scalable web applications for Evolve, a vacation-rental company. Delivering React and TypeScript solutions across custom development projects.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain TypeScript-driven web applications using in-house and open-source frameworks
- Collaborate across teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support full-stack technical solutions
- Use React, NodeJS, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML/CSS, GraphQL, Go, SQL, RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS tools and services
- Perform code reviews and technical documentation for peers
- Work directly with a Product Manager/Product Owner to understand problems being solved
- Design, deliver, and support high-quality code
- Execute engineering and release priorities
- Build and maintain a component library
- Drive collaboration on JavaScript coding standards, best practices, integrations, and front-end/back-end development processes
- Guide and teach less experienced developers
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience developing web applications in React with expertise in JavaScript
- Design and develop robust and scalable APIs using GraphQL and RESTful principles
- Familiarity with Go language, frameworks and libraries for building services
- Utilize AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate development and reduce errors
- Comfortable working with DevOps teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines
- Experience participating in and/or peer code reviews
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-performance environments
- Strong debugging skills and ability to find solutions to problems
- Experience building custom tools to automate tasks
- Experience with Git version control and repository management in GitLab
- Experience with Content Management Systems such as WordPress
