Job Description
Senior Software Engineer in Test supporting test development against Anthology’s systems in Colombia. Engaging in agile processes and developing test automation frameworks while collaborating with developers.
Responsibilities:
- Focus on providing support for test development and execution against Anthology’s systems
- Become an active member of an agile team of developers participating in daily stand-ups, design sessions, code reviews.
- Create and maintain automation frameworks and testing tools.
- Develop the test strategy for features, incorporating the right balance of unit tests, integration/API tests, and UI tests.
- Design, implement, and maintain complex testing environments, performing all aspects of verification including functional, regression, load, and system testing as well as documentation.
- Work in a KanBan team focused on delivering quality solutions to our clients.
Requirements:
- 5-8 years of experience in QA manual testing and automation
- Desire to work as a member of an inclusive, cross-functional team
- Self-starter who can complete work with limited supervision in a timely manner
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences in a global environment
- Experience developing test automation scripts for web applications and REST APIs
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks
- A technical understanding of database configuration and ability to write complex SQL queries
- Light experience with REST APIs, XML, JSON
- Fluency in written and spoken English at CEF B2 level or above.
