Job Description
Senior Full Stack Engineer developing consumer web applications, collaborating in Agile teams, leading coding efforts, and troubleshooting complex issues in fintech.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the design, solution, code, troubleshoot, resolve, and test software features and components in an Agile environment as part of a Full Stack team
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and refine software requirements
- Lead coding efforts for specific modules or features
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues
- Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards
- Contribute to architectural decisions and design discussions
- Participate in on-call rotation
Requirements:
- 4+ years of strong front-end / UI engineering experience specifically in React and AngularJS
- 4+ years of strong back-end engineering experience in Java specifically in Spring, Spring boot framework
- Demonstrable experience building world-class, consumer web application interfaces
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript fundamentals and ES6
- Strong knowledge of Oracle, MySQL database, SQL, CRUD, hibernate, JPA and ORM
- Experience writing unit tests for UI components using technologies like Jest, Chai, Mocha, react testing library and end-to-end testing using Selenium
- Working experience with browser APIs, and passion for optimizing front end performance
- Experience providing oversight, code-reviews, and guidance to less experienced engineers
- Bachelor's degree in related field or an equivalent combination of professional experience and/or training required
