Job Description
Senior .NET Engineer solving complex financial-platform problems at Stone, a Brazilian payments and financial-services technology company. Designing scalable solutions and guiding cross-functional engineering teams.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and prioritization of complex problems related to the financial sector and/or engineering platform products
- Serve as a reference point for decision-making regarding solution details
- Help the team solve problems with undefined scope and work with cross-functional teams to foster collaboration among everyone involved in the project
- Provide suggestions and constructive feedback, contributing to technical decisions and sharing technical knowledge across the team
- Independently define and deliver technical roadmaps for larger projects, often involving dependencies across teams
Requirements:
- Software development with C#
- Strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures
- Strong knowledge of design patterns and SOLID principles
- Strong knowledge of unit and integration testing
- Use Git naturally and have knowledge of GitFlow
- Knowledge of Docker and containerization
- Experience with observability tools such as Elasticsearch and Datadog
- Ability to produce clean, maintainable code
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and their practical application, particularly Kanban and/or Scrum
- Knowledge of public and private clouds such as Azure and Google Cloud (a plus)
- Knowledge of messaging systems such as Service Bus, RabbitMQ, or Kafka (a plus)
- Knowledge of microservices, Event Sourcing, CQRS, and Hexagonal Architecture (a plus)
- Experience with relational and non-relational data modeling (a plus)
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools and Azure DevOps (a plus)
- Knowledge of and interest in the financial market (a plus)
