Job Description
Senior Software Engineer developing and maintaining WordPress applications. Building scalable web applications and collaborating with cross-functional teams on impactful solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance web applications.
- Build and customize WordPress solutions, including development of Gutenberg blocks.
- Lead end-to-end feature development, including design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Contribute to system design decisions and help maintain robust software architecture.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using PHP and JavaScript.
- Participate in and conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the application stack.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver impactful solutions.
- Contribute to continuous improvements in engineering processes and development practices.
Requirements:
- Senior-level experience in software engineering, with a strong background in building complex systems.
- Hands-on experience with WordPress development, including Gutenberg blocks.
- Strong proficiency in PHP.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript.
- Experience with modern development frameworks (e.g., React or similar).
- Strong understanding of software architecture, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience building scalable and high-performance systems.
- Proven ability to own features end-to-end from design through deployment.
- Experience performing code reviews and maintaining high engineering standards.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication skills.
