Job Description
Senior Software Engineer responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining software at Home Depot. Collaborating with a dynamic team to create and support production applications.
Responsibilities:
- Develops, tests, deploys, and maintains software
- Collaborates with team members in agile processes
- Creatively contributes to the success of the organization
- Grows junior engineers by providing guidance on modern software development frameworks
Requirements:
- Must be eighteen years of age or older
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States
- 2-4 years of relevant work experience
- Hands on experience with Workday integrations
- Experience with front end technology such as HTML, CSS, and Javascript/Typescript frameworks
- Experience with an object-oriented programming language (preferably Java)
- Experience with relational or noSQL database technology
- Experience with cloud computing techniques, CI/CD tools
- Familiarity with modern software design patterns
- Experience with security frameworks for user and services authorization and authentication
- Experience with creating and executing unit, functional, destructive and performance tests
- Experience with modern debugging and root cause analysis techniques
- Experience with version control system
- Minimum education of bachelor's degree or equivalent in a field related to the job
