Job Description
Senior Technical Test Engineer testing features for CSG Quote & Order product. Collaborating with a cross-functional team to ensure quality standards and execute tests with modern tools.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our cross-functional team to effectively test features/technology for the CSG Quote & Order product to maintain & improve quality standards.
- Develop and execute tests using modern tools such as Karate (API), Cypress (UI) and k6 (Performance).
- Compose complex test plans, execute tests, document the results and understand the output.
- Work to connect our automation tools into our CI/CD pipelines.
- Participate in agile ceremonies such as planning, reviews, stand-ups, demos, retrospectives, etc.
- Evaluate new tools, frameworks, and trends to keep us at the forefront of innovation and productivity.
- Lead small groups of testers as per project needs.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of Software Test Engineer experience or someone with software development experience who is looking for a test engineering role.
- Knowledge in software testing; research, design, methodologies/processes, implementation and documentation.
- Experience with Test Automation: Writing and maintaining automation test scripts.
- Highly effective at communicating in English, experience collaborating across multiple teams and a strong comprehension of written/verbal material.
- Familiarity with Cucumber & it's a plus if you have Cypress, Karate DSL and Should have experience in one or more programming languages (preferably JavaScript/NodeJs).
