Job Description
Senior Technical Engineer designing and implementing enterprise-level production solutions. Collaborating with teams and continuously improving quality for banking services at Fifth Third Bank.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement enterprise-level production solutions
- Work with self-directed, cross-functional, and product-oriented teams in a highly collaborative environment
- Deliver important products and services while developing skills and experience
- Implement and maintain new features and capabilities while continuously improving quality
- Build and share technical expertise with your team and other members of the organization
- Follow industry and organizational best practices and standards
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
- Provide operational support and troubleshooting for your team’s products and services
- Maintain appropriate controls and documentation to ensure compliance with all company and regulatory requirements
- Provide coaching and training for new or less experienced team members
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technology field or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- 4+ years of .NET web development experience
- Recent VB.NET or C# experience in enterprise web and API development
- Demonstratable results producing enterprise-level production solutions
- Demonstratable full-stack development experience
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Willingness to work in a highly-collaborative environment
- Solid understanding and practical experience with modern software development practices, tools, and/or hardware technologies
- Understanding of common IT security best practices.
