Job Description
Senior Test Analyst focusing on API integrations for Xpert. Responsible for testing data flow and system connections as an independent contractor in South Africa.
Responsibilities:
- Review integration and API requirements and turn them into clear test scenarios
- Test APIs and connected systems to make sure data is flowing correctly
- Validate requests, responses, and error handling
- Work with tools such as Postman or SoapUI
- Check JSON and XML messages for accuracy
- Run end-to-end and regression testing across integrated systems
- Log, track, and help resolve defects
- Work closely with developers, analysts, and other project team members
Requirements:
- Strong experience in API and integration testing
- Good understanding of how systems interact and exchange data
- Hands-on experience with Postman, SoapUI, JSON, and XML
- Able to investigate issues and explain them clearly
- Comfortable with SQL and data validation
- Experience working in Agile delivery teams
