Job Description

Test Analyst at Minsait, defining test strategies and ensuring quality in software projects. Collaborating with development teams to execute and validate software testing processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Define the testing approach, including time and effort estimates, test levels, and test cycles.
  • Analyze, develop, and maintain test scenarios, test scripts, and a traceability matrix (functionality x scripts).
  • Prepare and configure test environments for executing scripts in development and staging environments, according to the test type.
  • Prepare and/or obtain the data required for test execution.
  • Execute functional tests and support other types of testing as needed by the project.
  • Log defects, analyze root causes of failures, and assist in identifying solutions.
  • Assist in planning, analyzing, and monitoring acceptance tests.
  • Document test evidence and ensure traceability of validations performed.

Requirements:

  • Experience in planning, designing, and executing software tests.
  • Knowledge of creating test scenarios and test scripts.
  • Experience with defect management and failure analysis.
  • Familiarity with testing processes in development and staging environments.
  • Experience preparing test data.
  • Analytical ability to identify issues and validate requirements.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with development and business teams.
