Job Description
Test Analyst at Minsait, defining test strategies and ensuring quality in software projects. Collaborating with development teams to execute and validate software testing processes.
Responsibilities:
- Define the testing approach, including time and effort estimates, test levels, and test cycles.
- Analyze, develop, and maintain test scenarios, test scripts, and a traceability matrix (functionality x scripts).
- Prepare and configure test environments for executing scripts in development and staging environments, according to the test type.
- Prepare and/or obtain the data required for test execution.
- Execute functional tests and support other types of testing as needed by the project.
- Log defects, analyze root causes of failures, and assist in identifying solutions.
- Assist in planning, analyzing, and monitoring acceptance tests.
- Document test evidence and ensure traceability of validations performed.
Requirements:
- Experience in planning, designing, and executing software tests.
- Knowledge of creating test scenarios and test scripts.
- Experience with defect management and failure analysis.
- Familiarity with testing processes in development and staging environments.
- Experience preparing test data.
- Analytical ability to identify issues and validate requirements.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with development and business teams.
