Job Description

UX Writer defining voice and tone for conversational agents at Compass UOL. Collaborating on chatbot content and enhancing user interactions through clear writing.

Responsibilities:

  • Define the voice, tone and personality of conversational agents, maintaining and evolving the company style guide;
  • Design conversation flows, including scripts, messages, fallbacks and redirects;
  • Write and review content such as prompts, microcopy, system messages and agent responses;
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to structure intents, entities, rules and integrations;
  • Monitor conversational metrics, analyze logs and propose continuous improvements;
  • Create and maintain documentation, including guidelines, escalation matrices, best practices and conversational patterns;
  • Ensure consistency, clarity and safety in interactions, taking privacy and compliance into account.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a UX Writer, Content Designer or Conversation Designer;
  • Portfolio with examples of conversational flows, microcopy and writing processes;
  • Proficiency in objective, clear writing aligned with defined voice and tone;
  • Experience building chatbots or conversational agents using LLMs or traditional NLU;
  • Familiarity with design tools and conversational platforms such as Figma, Dialogflow, Rasa, Botpress, Microsoft Bot Framework or similar;
  • Analytical ability to interpret metrics and logs;
  • Ability to work collaboratively with engineering and product teams.
