Job Description

Bid Writer seeking content plan and write responses for public sector tenders. Collaborating with teams, expertise in social value and ESG priorities required.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the solutioning of social value proposals, then content plan and write responses for large public sector tenders.
  • Write Social Value solutions and responses for bids and frameworks, ensuring alignment with the UK Social Value Model and customer priorities.
  • Support the UK Social Value Lead with programme ideas for customers.
  • Create and maintain tools to enable self-serve tender responses.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen Social Value impact through partnerships and programmes.
  • Stakeholder engagement and communication across internal teams and external partners.

Requirements:

  • Experience writing or contributing to bids within public sector procurement, particularly social value.
  • Understanding of the UK Social Value Model or wider ESG / sustainability frameworks.
  • Ability to work across multiple bids and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience developing Social Value responses from scratch for government tenders (desirable).
  • Understanding of impact measurement or social value reporting approaches (desirable).
