Job Description
Sr. Video Editor / Motion Graphics Artist creating engaging ad-length content for Democratic campaigns until November 2026. Responsible for all stages of production from design to sound.
Responsibilities:
- Work on the frontlines of Democratic campaigns and progressive organizations
- Create beautiful, ad-length video content
- Handle every part of the production process, from asset design to sound design.
Requirements:
- Experienced motion graphics / post-production specialists
- Strong knowledge of post-production fundamentals (editing, sound editing, color, etc.)
- Comfortable designing and working with titles and type
- Proficient designer with ability to use typography, color, layout and visual hierarchy
- Competency with simple 3D animation and/or VFX (cameras, planar tracking, content replacement, rotoscoping)
- Proven ability to produce short-form video content packages (30-second, 15-second, 6-second)
- Experience in effective selection and direction of voice actors
- Familiarity with needs and expectations of Democratic political clients
- Additional skills in audio engineering, color grading, VFX, and/or illustration are preferred.
