Job Description
Senior Workflow Automation Engineer für n8n-Workflows bei der Immobilienbewertungsdienstleisterin VALUE AG. Entwicklung skalierbarer API-Integrationen und Prozessautomatisierungen.
Responsibilities:
- Build and continuously develop the automation environment centered around n8n
- Develop, operate, and optimize workflows for recurring tasks, process chains, and cross-functional operations
- Analyze existing business processes together with specialist departments and process managers
- Identify and prioritize automation opportunities based on business impact, technical feasibility, and scalability potential
- Translate business requirements into stable, production-ready end-to-end workflows
- Own automation solutions throughout their lifecycle—from requirements gathering and implementation to operations, monitoring, optimization, and further development
- Integrate internal and external systems via APIs and common data formats
- Establish quality standards, governance structures, review processes, and reusable components
- Enable colleagues to further develop or implement their own automations
- Help shape VALUE AG’s automation strategy within the Hypoport network
Requirements:
- Several years of hands-on experience with n8n in a production business environment
- Proven experience building, operating, and continuously developing business-critical automations
- Good programming skills, for example in JavaScript/TypeScript or Python
- Solid understanding of frontend technologies
- Knowledge of API integrations, data formats, and modern automation and integration architectures
- Understanding of technical interdependencies and business requirements
- Ability to assess effort, value, risks, and scalability potential
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work
- Strong ownership mindset
- Confident communication with specialist departments, process owners, and stakeholders
- Ability to communicate complex topics clearly and understandably
- German at least at C1 level
- English at least at B1 level
- Experience with UiPath, RPA, or migrating existing automation solutions is a plus
- Experience with browser automation, such as Puppeteer or comparable technologies, is a plus
