Job Description
Senior Programmer managing IBM CICS Transaction Server operations from a remote location. Required expertise in CICS, MQ, and WebSphere with experience in large mainframe environments.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, install, upgrade, implement, maintain and customize IBM CICS Transaction Server (TS)
- Plan, install, upgrade, implement, maintain and customize software used as or for Message Broker.
- Implement an automated build process for developers.
- Establish CICS/TS intercommunications.
- Implement CICS/TS facilities like Asynchronous Processing, Transaction Routing.
- Diagnose and resolve CICS environment system abends and abnormal operating problems using system logs.
Requirements:
- Current Top Secret clearance preferred; ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance required.
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math and seven years' experience with IBM CICS, MQ, and WebSphere products in a large mainframe environment.
- Or Ten years' experience with IBM CICS, MQ, and WebSphere products in a large mainframe environment.
