Job Description

Social Media Specialist collaborating with marketing leaders to manage social media communities at Henry Schein. Developing strategies and creating content for various platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with marketing leaders, Corporate Affairs and Corporate Communications to build and manage social media communities.
  • Developing and implementing an integrated social media strategy and roadmap.
  • Researching trends related to social media/networking and recommending adoption of strategic proposals.
  • Solicit, create, and post content that attracts attention and encourages engagement.
  • Writing and editing content for social media, blogs, video, and other internal and external communications.

Requirements:

  • Experience developing social marketing tactics in B2B environment.
  • Familiarity with creative tools such as Canva and other video editing tools and social editing apps.
  • Knowledgeable in social media monitoring software.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence social media landscape (e.g., gain followers in social media environment).
  • Good project management and client/organizational persuasion skills.
  • Ability to influence large organizations without requiring functional control.
