Job Description
Software QA Engineer ensuring quality and reliability of web applications at Electronic Arts. Involves testing, collaborating with teams, and maintaining test documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated tests.
- Perform manual and automated testing for web applications.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to understand requirements and ensure product quality.
- Identify, document, and track bugs using issue tracking tools.
- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test documentation.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Use AI-assisted coding tools to improve testing workflows and increase productivity.
- Conduct regression, functional, integration, and performance testing.
- Ensure web applications work properly across different browsers and devices.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving testing strategies and quality standards.
Requirements:
- +4 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Test Engineering
- Experience with test automation frameworks such as Playwright or Cypress
- Knowledge of end-to-end testing strategies and best practices.
- Good understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript for writing automated tests.
- Experience testing modern web applications (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or similar tools.
- Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (Jira, TestRail, etc.).
- Understanding of CI/CD processes and integration of automated tests.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
