Job Description

Software Quality Testing Engineer testing Humana healthcare software, tracking defects, and verifying fixes. Developing test procedures to meet organizational and end-user requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Thoroughly evaluate software products against business standards and functional requirements
  • Isolate, reproduce, and track defects
  • Verify defect fixes
  • Develop test data and procedures to ensure software meets organizational standards and end-user requirements
  • Apply software development cycle knowledge and quality assurance methodologies
  • Make independent decisions regarding work methods and follow established guidelines and procedures
  • Report to the Director, Network Operations
  • Support Humana's efforts to secure and transition into a new business opportunity

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or qualifying experience
  • At least 3 years of technical experience
  • Experience developing test data and procedures to ensure software products meet organization standards and end-user requirements
  • Familiarity with the software development cycle
  • Familiarity with quality assurance methodologies
  • Master's Degree preferred
  • One year of TRICARE contract experience preferred
  • Internet service with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speed
  • Dedicated workspace without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information
