Job Description
Solution Consultant designing IoT asset-tracking solutions for SkyCell’s air-cargo customers. Supporting pre-sales, implementation, and rollout of ULD visibility software and hardware.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as technical point of contact during pre-sales for ULD Asset Tracking opportunities
- Shape value-driven solutions with Sales involving IoT loggers, gateways, and software
- Prepare and deliver tailored product demos, presentations, and workshops
- Participate in technical customer discussions on coverage, location accuracy, data flows, integrations, and reporting
- Configure and manage demo environments
- Support proofs of concept and pilots
- Translate customer requirements into solution concepts
- Support proposal creation, RFP responses, and technical documentation
- Provide technical input on pricing, scope, and risk during sales
- Support handover from sold opportunity to live deployment
- Guide logger onboarding, gateway placement, and zone/site configuration
- Troubleshoot early-stage connectivity, pairing, and data-quality issues with Engineering and IoT teams
- Support training, enablement, and adoption for warehouse operators, fleet managers, and technicians
- Monitor early post-go-live performance and help resolve gaps
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and Operations on feasible, production-ready solutions
- Stay informed on air cargo/ULD regulations, industry trends, and competitor positioning
- Relay field feedback to product and engineering roadmaps
- Represent SkyCell at customer meetings, pilots, and industry events
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Computer Science, or a related technical field — or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in technical pre-sales, solution consulting, sales engineering, or implementation roles, ideally in air cargo, logistics, IoT, or asset tracking
- Practical understanding of IoT hardware, gateway/network infrastructure, and data-driven visibility platforms
- Experience with rollout/implementation, including onboarding, configuration, and early troubleshooting
- Strong communication across technical and non-technical audiences
- Comfortable managing multiple workstreams across pre-sales and post-sale support
- Willingness to travel for customer engagements and on-site rollouts
- Must be located in, or able to relocate without sponsorship to, one of the advertised locations
- Must be authorised to work in the current country of residence without sponsorship
