Job Description

Staff Accountant responsible for processing finance transactions in a data connectivity company. Overseeing accounts payable and supporting month-end close processes with effective communication.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the Accounts Payable (AP) process, which includes vendor set-up, processing of expense invoices, coding invoices into NetSuite, and processing biweekly AP payments.
  • File annual 1099s for all applicable vendors.
  • Manage Concur and process related expense reports each month including corporate card and employee reimbursement expenses.
  • Prepare monthly reconciliations to support an efficient and accurate month-end close process including, but not limited to, bank reconciliations, fixed assets, prepaid expenses, etc.
  • Participate in Ad Hoc projects and other tasks as required.
  • Develop relationships with other employees throughout CData to drive excellent communication between the finance team and the functional teams across the organization.
  • Assist with annual financial statement audit.
  • Create and update process narratives for all related finance areas.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of Finance/Accounting experience
  • Experience with NetSuite or similar global accounting system is beneficial
  • Experience processing accounting transactions and reconciliations to support month end close
  • Effective communication skills and natural enjoyment of communicating with the team across the organization and external to the business (customers, vendors, etc.)
  • Process oriented thinker with great organizational skills
  • Great attention to detail with excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
