Job Description
Staff Applied AI Engineer building production LLM agents for Future’s Health Coach product. Developing reliable AI features for personalized sleep, nutrition, and fitness guidance.
Responsibilities:
- Build and ship production AI agents for Future’s Health Coach product
- Develop tool-calling LLMs, structured outputs, parallel API orchestration, and streaming AI features
- Support coach matching and clinical-leaning guidance for sleep, nutrition, and fitness
- Own the development loop from prototyping through Langfuse evaluations, deployment, trace monitoring, and iteration
- Improve reliability, latency, and cost through prompt caching, token budgets, retries, and observability
- Write agent tools and Pydantic-validated integrations in an EPD pod
Requirements:
- 4–10 years of experience
- Shipped LLM agents to production
- Strong big-tech background, ideally moved to startups or founded a company
- Python and async Python
- LangChain/LangGraph
- Pydantic
- Langfuse
- AWS/Bedrock
- Independent in a beta-stage environment
- US citizen or Green Card holder; visas are not supported
